name will appear after the query. Please click on the name produced
by the query and the substance abuse professional’s status
with the Board will be displayed.
Please note that a query might produce several results should the
first and/or last name field not be completed in its entirety. Also,
a query might not produce any results if the individual’s
name is spelled incorrectly.
Approvals Key:
REG
stands for someone who is a REGISTRANT
with the Board and is in the application process for a Board certification.
REG-L
is an abbreviation used for someone who is a LCAS
REGISTRANT and is in pursuit of the license (LCAS).
INT
is the abbreviation used for an INTERN.
An Intern is registered with the Board and has also taken and passed
the written examination as part of the Certified Substance Abuse
Counselor application process.
INT-L
is the abbreviation used for a LCAS
INTERN. One must take and pass the written examination
as part of the Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist application
process before being considered a LCAS Intern.
